New codecs G.722 and G.723.1 available

As of today, the new codecs G.722 and G.723.1 are available for VoIP recording of all VoIP vendor's (e.g. Cisco, Avaya, Mitel, etc.).

A codec is an audio compressor and converts analog audio signals into digital signals for transmission and storage. A receiving device then converts the digital signals back to analog using an audio decompressor, for playback.

CyberTech supported the G.711 (uncompressed) and G.729A codecs, and has now added the codecs for G.723.1 and G.722.
