Procedures to configure MAC/IP adresses you need to record
December 8, 2011
1) Find the shortcut of the PrtVoIP0.ini file on the desktop
If you don't see the shortcut, you will find the source at: C:\ProgramData\CyberTech\INI_Files\Voip\PrtVoIP0.ini

*** To access ProgramData, you need to show the hidden folders/files
2) Open the file to configure it
With a Window text editor, open the requested file. Depending on your configuration (MAC or I.P. addresses), go to "MAC to channel" or "I.P. to channel" section. You only have to enter the addresses linked to the channel you want. ***Warning, the ID of the channels starts at zero in the .ini file and starts at one in the application. You have to link the channel X in the application to the channel X-1 in the .ini file. It is important to use dashes (-), not double points (:).

Once you are done with the configuration, save the PrtVoIP0.ini file.
***Warning, it is really important to not modify any other settings than MAC or I.P. addresses or you may alter your recording system.
3) Apply the changes to the recording card
You need to synchronize the recording card with the application. The card needs to reboot to complete this task. Open the Maintenance tool in the Parrot API in:
- Start\All programs\Parrot API\Maintenance tool OR Start\All programs\CyberTech\Parrot API\Maintenance tool
depending on your application version.

Once you are in the Maintenance tool, select the I.P. recording board. To switch between boards, use ctrl+2 to switch on board 2. You will know which one is the recording board when the channels correspond to the ones you have in your recording system. After, type "reload all" + enter. Everything will be setup from now on.
